Brandon Miller, the No. 11 overall prospect in the 2022 Composite Rankings, has committed to the Alabama Crimson Tide, he tells 247Sports.

"I will be playing college basketball with the University of Alabama," said Miller.

The 6-foot-8, 200-pound small forward out of Antioch (Tenn.) Cane Ridge committed to the Crimson Tide over his other finalists including Kansas, Tennessee State, the NBL and the G League Ignite.

"I just trust the coaches and my parents trust them to get me to the next level and to chase my dreams," he said of why he chose the Crimson Tide.

Nate Oats and his staff prioritized Miller early upon taking the job in Tuscaloosa and have done an excellent job of developing a strong relationship with the five-star recruit over the years.

"The main thing that really stood out to me is the bond with the head coach," Miller said of the coaching staff. "In recruiting, the head coach doesn't always get involved because I feel like they don't have enough time but that really stood out to me. Coach Oats was calling me and telling me about his family and his daughters playing volleyball so that was the main thing that stood out to me was the bond."

Miller is one of the more polished and advanced scorers in the country with tremendous size and athleticism but he says he will bring more than that to Tuscaloosa.

"I feel that I can bring energy and creativity around the players and I can guard everybody one-through-five," he said.

Miller said that Jaden Bradley began recruiting him to Alabama before he even made his own commitment to the Crimson Tide and with Miller on board, they have their eyes set on two more prospects.

"We are targeting Jarace Walker and Noah Clowney," he said. "It's not really a pitch but just trying to get closer with them and see what will make their mind."

Miller is Alabama's second commitment in the 2022 class joining fellow five-star prospect Jaden Bradley.
