SEC power rankings after Week 9 feature major changes following Saturday's results, highlighted by Florida's continued fall from grace and Mississippi State's surprising win over Kentucky. Gators coach Dan Mullen is facing a smattering of jeers from media members in the midst of fallout from the loss after answering a recruiting answer that went awry.

Mullen's team has lost three of their last four games to fall out of the national rankings and will not be inside the College Football Playoff selection committee's first poll Tuesday for the first time in Mullen's tenure.

That's quite a disappointment for a group that thought it could potentially turn the corner this season following a narrow loss to Alabama, but has since stubbed their toes against Kentucky, LSU and the top-ranked rival Bulldogs. Florida won the East last season and now is bringing up the rear of the conference at 4-4.
